Domaine Jean-Marc Bouley
For generations, the Bouley family has cultivated vineyards in Volnay. In 1919, François Bouley took over the management of the family estate, a role later entrusted to Christian in 1948.
In 1974, Jean-Marc founded his own Domaine, which was further expanded in 1984 with the integration of his father’s vineyards.
Thomas joined the estate in 2002 and assumed full management in 2012, with the ambition of placing the Domaine among the most renowned in Volnay.
The estate’s production is focused primarily on red wines from the villages of Volnay, Pommard, and Beaune. The sole exception is a Bourgogne Aligoté, a white wine crafted from a vineyard located in the Meursault area. Reflecting the unique character of Burgundy, the vineyards are divided into numerous parcels. Today, the estate cultivates 8.8 hectares spread across 29 distinct plots.
